This year it’s really been on my heart to invest in my business. One way I have done that, is by attending a workshop with the absolutely incredible Monique Serra Photography. Monique is someone I have always wanted to learn from, and when her one day workshop was announced I was beside myself excited. AND it was styled by Mae & Co Creative, who create absolute magic, and everything they touch is breathtaking! And then just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, Monique announced that Bethany Small would be guest Speaking. It was like the Lord knew exactly what would fill my cup, and He decided to add a little dollop of coconut milk whip cream on top just to sweeten it that much more! Bethany is a long time family friend who has photographed my husband and I, and our sweet family on multiple occasions. Between Monique, Bethany, and all the vendors, this workshop was bound to be incredible.

And it did not disappoint.

Friends - The styling was insane. From the florals, to the dresses, to the tablescape. Everything was flawless. The colors were vibrant, and inviting and I could have stared at it all, all day long. There was a styled elopement session, followed by a laid back engagement. All the Models were so fun to work with. And I am so genuinely grateful for all the wisdom Monique and Bethany shared. They encouraged us each in our business and creativity, and made me so excited for where this ‘side-gig’ can take me. I am so thankful to have attended, and I hope you love all the photos as much as I do!
