Hi! I’m Hailey Joy.

 

I am a Wife, Mama, Jesus follower, dreamer, and photographer. I think Marriage is the BEST. I married my hunk of a husband in 2014, after two years of dating mostly long distance. He is my best friend, and the reason I am so passionate about marriage! We have three beautiful babies, and Being their Mama is one of my greatest Joy’s in Life! ! We live in the foothills of Mt. Hood, and our country mountain life brings me so much happiness. I am an Enneagram 2W3, an avid coffee drinker, and I love wine, cider, hikes, bonfires, camping, BBQ and tacos. My love languages are Quality time, and words of affirmation. Followed immediately by cashew milk ice cream and a good Mojito.

I fell in love with photography after I graduated high school, and it has truly captured my heart. I am fueled by laughter and intimate moments, and get insanely giddy on a photoshoot. (Spoiler alert, I will most likely squeal during your shoot at one point or another from excitement.) I am so passionate about what I do, and believe every love story is unique! Which is why I aim to capture your love, just as it is! I am not the photographer that is driven off of poses (although of course I help direct in that area). I THRIVE off of genuine emotion and connection. I want your shoot to feel like YOU! So down the road when you look back at your wedding day or engagement, It’s not just the pretty photos you will see, But the feelings you will remember. The memories of that day and what it FELT like. These are the images that will be passed down through generations with the legacy you are beginning as husband and wife, and I am crazy honored to be able to provide those.

Do you Work from a shot-list?

 

The Short Answer – I do not! I feel a shot list can take away from capturing the super special moments during your day. If you do have a unique moment planned, let me know when we have our pre-Wedding Consult so I know and can expect it. Otherwise, you can have comfort knowing me and my team will be there capturing all those memories. Even the ones you don’t see! 

 

Do you backup our images?

 

Backing up your photos is so important to me. You are entrusting me with your day, your story, and your memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. And that is something I do not take lightly. I backup all my sessions and weddings on multiple hard drives – stored in different locations. So you can rest assured I am protecting those moments in the best way I can!
